Our story began in November of 2022 in a way neither of us could have predicted. The first time we saw each other was at Terre Haute Brewing Co., where Ryan was playing the drums. We didn’t talk that night, but little did we know that a simple moment of crossing paths would soon become the beginning of something amazing.

Just two days later, we matched on a dating app. Ryan was the one who sent the first message, and from there, a conversation began that would change both of our lives. What started as a simple match turned into getting to know each other, sharing laughs, making memories, and building a relationship we both knew was something special.

When Ryan decided it was time to ask the biggest question, he planned a surprise that was perfectly us. He took me to one of our favorite restaurants and secretly called ahead to share his plans with the staff. During dinner, they brought out a special plate with “Will you marry me?” written in chocolate. As it was placed in front of me, Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.

From the first moment we saw each other, to a swipe right, to a chocolate message and a promise of forever, our story has been filled with little moments that brought us exactly where we are today.
